I had an initial call with Sonia so that she could assess my level of Spanish and we spoke about her career so far so that I could get to know her better. She spoke about the students she currently has on her books and how she has helped them to improve their Spanish.

When looking for a tutor, I wanted to find someone who would correct my mistakes. When speaking to Sonia I could hear myself making mistakes but most of the time I was not necessarily corrected. This is just my personal preference for what I look for in a tutor but of course this style does not suit all pupils.

When we initially messaged each other, Sonia wanted to know what subject matter I wanted to improve on during our sessions.

Only had a couple of lessons but already lernt so much, Sonia is very patient and doesn't try to rush you, I look forward to going and learning more.

Cannot comment on tuition as did not have lessons due to a change of mind. Sonia was quick to respond and helpful.

If you want to learn holiday Spanish like ordering a coffee or beer from a bar or to engage in conversation with the locals in to enrich your holiday experience , I would recommend Sonia. She is friendly, patient and makes language fun. You will get lots of learning materials to get you started and if you are prepared for putting in a little effort you will see the results. She will teach you to speak Spanish like the locals not the stuff you find in your normal phrase book. Don’t just think about it do it you will not be disappointed, and you will have an enriching experience along the way.

Sonia is a great teacher. She’s organised and makes the lessons interesting and engaging. She also adapts her pace and style to suit different abilities. Her English is excellent so you get the advantages of a native speaker without any of the confusion which can sometimes arise with teachers who do not speak English as fluently. I would definitely recommend her for lessons.

Sonia is a great Spanish teacher and she is helping my son with his GCSE.

Sonia is an excellent tutor. She will explain things thoroughly to ensure you understand, rather than move on to the next item too soon. She allows you to communicate with her and ask questions between lessons. Sonia has a very friendly personality, is patient, gives a great attention to detail and I recommend her to anyone wishing to learn Spanish for fun, holidays, business or even moving to Spain. She really is an excellent tutor.

My first lesson with Sonia was really great! It was exactly what I was looking for in a tutor, someone who pushes me to learn at every stage. Sonia is really friendly and made a real effort to get to know me. She tailors the sessions to exactly how each student learns, which is a great way to learn!
