Sian

My name is Sian and have I have been a qualified teacher for 21 years. I have experience of working with children from 3 to 11. From the age of 11, I knew I wanted to teach and I love getting up for work every morning, no two days are ever the same! I love the feeling that I can make a difference to a child by giving them exciting experiences which help them progress with their learning. I have a very creative approach to teaching and tailor learning to each child's individual needs. I quickly form good relationships with the children in my class.

Tutoring Experience

I qualified in July 2004 and have worked in Manchester, Warrington, Lancashire and Sefton since qualifying I have experience of teaching Early Years, Key Srage 1 and Key Stage 2. I have been at my current school for 10 years and I currently work in Year 1.
I have tutored in the past and I have built positive relationships with both the child and the parents. It was a privilege to be a part of their journey.

Tutoring Approach

Every child is unique and therefore deserves lessons that are tailored towards their individual needs. I believe that all children should feel a sense of acheivement at the end of each lesson as well as being challenged throughout at the same time. Lessons should be fun and enjoyable and practical.

I have a relaxed approach and I want your child to be comfortable throughout the sessions and feel able to ask any questions they may have. Ultimately I want you child to make excellent progress and grow in confidence.
