I am currently the Head of Citizenship, and teacher of Politics at a high achieving school in North London. Under my leadership, we have been recognised as the leading Citizenship department by the Association for Citizenship Teaching (ACT). My students regularly get A* at A level, and 7 plus at GCSE. I have attended a number of training sessions on the process behind the marking of exams, so have an in depth knowledge on how to attain high grades.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a fully qualified teacher for 6 years and currently teach GCSE Citizenship classes on the Edexcel exam board and I also have A Level Politics classes on the AQA exam board.

I have taught and have experience of all the major exam boards, including AQA, and Edexcel.

I have written revision guides for my students and also have a vast collection of past exam papers in order to prepare my tutees for success. I am also an examiner for my subject.

Tutoring Approach

I focus on exam technique and simplifying content but can tailor lessons to the needs of my tutees. I focus on breaking down difficult concepts to make them manageable to students and ensure that understanding is at the core of everything I do.

My tutoring style is learner focused providing students with the opportunity to excel.
