I have a physics/maths background having studied physics as my first degree and also having obtained a PhD in Astrophysics. I worked as a researcher in astrophysics for more than 15 years, a job which has been extremely interesting and rewarding, and I am currently a data analyst in the civil service.

Tutoring Experience

I have many years experience in teaching. In the period between 2003-2007, I had about 30 tutees in Physics and Maths (GCSE, A-level and IB). Subsequently, as a University Researcher, I was involved in the supervision of Masters/PhD students, and also lectured an astrophysics course on several occasions. In the last few years, I have helped many students achieve top grades in GCSE and A-level, both maths and further maths.

Tutoring Approach

I only tutor maths currently and take on students that go for the higher GCSE papers and also aim to get top marks. Similarly for A-level I want my students to aim for top marks. This is because I expect the dedication and hard work that comes with high aspirations. I guarantee that I will help you achieve your best.
