I hold a First-Class degree in BSc Economics and Accounting from Brunel University London. By changing my revision approach at university, I was able to succeed without the stress I experienced during A-levels—and now I can help students do the same.
I specialise in tutoring:
Economics (GCSE to University level, including modules such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, and International Economics)
Accounting (A-level, AAT, and University level)
My goal is to help students build confidence and truly understand the material—not just memorise it.
Studying economics can often make students wonder why they are studying it (and not in a good way). But once they realise how it is actually applied in the world, it can be a lot more exciting. Learning concepts then becomes fun, tackling exam problems also becomes fun!
I focus on the real-world relevance of what you’re learning, including insights into financial systems, banking, centralised finance and decentralised finance (DeFi). I am happy to discuss topics that may or may not be now relevant in economics modules. Topics such as cryptocurrencies. Crypto exchanges. Their similarities with traditional financial vehicles and differences.
Whether you're struggling with exam preparation or looking to deepen your subject knowledge, I offer evidence-based revision strategies tailored to your learning style and goals.
I have previously tutored at a tuition centre, where I supported students across various subjects, including Maths and Economics. During university, I also helped many of my peers improve their revision techniques—especially for challenging economics modules like Microeconomics, Econometrics, and Financial Markets. Several of them went on to achieve even higher grades than I did! Which was incredibly rewarding and reinforced the impact of effective, personalised study strategies.
In addition, I’ve supported younger students preparing for grammar school entry tests, tailoring my approach to meet each learner's individual needs. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
To help students strengthen their weaker areas and build a solid foundation in economics, I review the relevant material before each session. This allows me to prepare targeted explanations—whether it’s for models, graphs, or key theories—so that our time together is focused, efficient, and tailored to the student’s needs.
