Hello! JoAnn here. Teaching has always been my passion: when I was a teenager, I recruited my younger cousins as my first students and ran a lightly monetised tutoring empire (less than £10 a month per cousin/client!). Since 2022, I've been a teaching assistant at the University of Glasgow, leading tutorials for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, running office hours, and marking exam papers. In 2024, I began private tutoring for university students, with clients from Lancaster, Nottingham Trent, and UCL.

I offer online personalised support for university students in economics and related fields. My work includes:

1. One-on-one tutoring sessions (weekly or as needed) to complement your university lectures and tutorials — helping you build a strong foundation and approach exams with confidence.

2. Assignment-based support, where I guide you step by step through coursework of your choice.

3. Dissertation coaching, drawing on my experience as a PhD student to help you plan, structure, and write a high-quality economics dissertation.

4. Programming and coding training, tailored to your needs. I’m proficient in Python, R, Stata, MATLAB, and EViews, and support students with econometrics and data analysis.

5. Private consultations for students navigating UK higher education or aiming to succeed in academia in general, with advice on study strategies, time management, and resourcefulness.

6. Group workshops on academic writing and research methods.
