I graduated from the University of Stirling in 2025 with a BSc in Mathematics and Education, studying on the Initial Teacher Education Programme as a teacher of Mathematics (Secondary). I recently relocated to North Yorkshire to begin my teaching career here.
My University course included over 100 days of classroom teaching experience across three different schools, providing me with a wide range of experiences. During this time I also tutored privately both online and in person, largely with students aged 15-17 working towards SQA exams.
I'm an enthusiastic and approachable new teacher who believes that tutoring works best when it's tailored to the individual. I take the time to get to know each student and adapt my approach to suit their needs, goals, and preferences. I encourage students to take ownership of our sessions - after all, it's their time, and I'm here to support them in the way that works best for them. My goal is to create a comfortable, collaborative space where students feel confident, heard, and empowered to make real progress in mathematics.
