Hello, I'm a maths and computer science student at the university of Durham. I quite enjoy teaching and I think that after I've worked in industry for a bit I would like to go back to uni and become a secondary/sixth form teacher. I'm also really into tennis, and F1!

Tutoring Experience

I have some teaching experience tutoring my little brother (who has autism) as well as coaching tennis.

Tutoring Approach

My first step as a tutor is to assess the student’s current level. In our first lesson, we’ll work through questions from across the curriculum to identify strengths and areas for improvement. From there, I focus on the weaker topics, explaining concepts clearly before guiding the student through practice questions. We’ll start with supported examples, then move on to independent practice to check understanding. Depending on progress, we’ll either move to a new topic or revisit any areas that still need work.
