I’m a gap year student about to begin my first year of university studying Biomedical Sciences. I’m passionate about science and would love to help young learners grow in their understanding and confidence in the subject. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes
Maths tutor at several primary schools via the Maths Outreach Programme
My teaching approach is student-led, adaptable and tailored to each student and their specific needs. I like to identify the student's weaknesses in certain topics, either through a discussion or a baseline test, and from then on build upon and tackle those weaknesses. I like to break up certain concepts that they may find challenging and explain them in much more simpler terms to help their understanding. I am happy to help with homework and extra work from school. My goal is to also make my teaching approach engaging and fascinating for the students, to not only help their understanding of their subject but their enjoyment of it.
