A-Level Maths & Further Maths with A* predictions. Maths made simple - from a student who’s just been through it!
As a Further Maths student, I’ve helped both A-Level and GCSE students improve their maths skills. One of my proudest successes was helping a classmate go from a D to a B at A-Level by walking them through my thought process and showing them how to approach questions logically. I’ve also led small group sessions for GCSE students, focusing on breaking down difficult topics and building confidence through exam-style questions and clear explanations.
Being close in age to most students means I can explain things in a way that actually makes sense. I understand how confusing maths can feel at times, but it becomes much easier once you have the right approach. I'll break topics down into simple clear steps to focus on building understanding and confidence.
For GCSE and A level, I work closely with the specification so that no time is wasted on things the student doesn't need to know, allowing them to focus on what's relevant to them. By breaking down problems in a simple way, I aim to help students understand how to tackle a range of questions.
My lessons are straightforward and will be specific to you. I don’t use overcomplicated worksheets or flashy resources because they often distract from the actual maths. Instead, I use a whiteboard and pen to make questions and explain methods in a simple, step-by-step way. This way, you get focused practice on exactly what you need, with no confusion.
Whether you're aiming to boost your grade or just make sense of difficult topics, I can help you to make real progress with your maths.
