Felix

My name is Felix and I am currently in my first year at a Russel Group university studying for an integrated masters in Chemistry.

Tutoring Experience

During my Gap Year as Organ Scholar, I tutored choristers in Music Theory helping them to work towards exams. I have also done a term's work experience as a Teaching Assistant for Year 4s and 5s providing insightful explanations to pupils who might not have understood a concept. I was a Peer Mentor during Sixth Form for pupils from Year 7 and 8.

Tutoring Approach

I want my lessons to be supportive and encouraging, building confidence in my pupil. I approach my lessons with a lesson plan but am fully open to deviating from that if my student wants to. I don't want my lessons to feel stressful, I want them to be fun and relaxed. I'm chatty and understanding. I take a flexible approach to the lesson and love seeing my students really understand a topic.
