I’m a professional author and illustrator with a DPhil from the University of Oxford, where I am currently a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer. I offer creative writing tutoring to school children and teenagers, undergraduate and postgraduate students, and adults wanting to develop their fiction-writing skills. I specialise in narrative voice, character development, structure, and visual storytelling. I also support students working across genres, including fiction, memoir, fantasy, picture books, and experimental writing. Sessions are tailored to your goals and interests, from beginner to advanced levels.

Tutoring Experience

I have extensive experience teaching, mentoring, and running writing workshops across a wide range of age groups and settings. I teach at the University of Oxford, Oxford Brookes University, and Universitas Airlangga in Indonesia.

My professional work spans published fiction, illustrated children’s books, and award-winning academic writing. I’ve supported both young and adult learners in developing their creative writing, from academic and portfolio projects to personal and professional work.

With younger learners, I prioritise playful engagement and imagination-building. With older students and adults, I can provide mentoring, critique, and support with longer writing projects. All sessions are adaptive, engaging, and collaborative.
