Hi. I am a teacher at an academy with 10 years of experience. I have a passion towards delivering effective lessons that are backed by knowledge in psychology and education. I have refined my pedagogy relentlessly in the pass ten years. I am fully aware of common misconceptions and I am fully skilled with effective differentiation skills to support learners at different stages and with different needs. I have also completed much teaching with students with SEN needs over the years, therefore, becoming proficient in supporting SEN students. Nonetheless, I also participate in curriculum design and development, meaning that I oversee the progression from KS3 to KS5.

Tutoring Experience

I have ten years of teaching experience and tutoring experience. I have been leading the department at school and refining teacher explanation. I am fully aware of how best lessons should be sequenced and how students progress from KS3 to KS5. I am confident in delivering effective lessons, in person or online, according to the AQA GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics specification. Also, I teach to the OCR Advanced Biology specification.

Tutoring Approach

Online and in-person lessons can be arranged, depends on availability. Students will be first assessed with their current subject knowledge and skills and then subsequent lessons will be tailored to student's pace and needs.
