I am a transformative teacher who LOVES seeing my students grow in confidence and their own abilities beyond the course or classroom. I speak Mandarin Chinese, have authored several books and am currently studying Japanese. I enjoy learning and meeting new people so we can grow together.

Tutoring Experience

I have 13 years experience teaching all ages and levels for various purposes. My most challenging experience has been teaching autistic people life skills and a blind person poetry's imagery for her A-level English studies.

Tutoring Approach

I use a mediated coaching approach which means I allow students to attempt answers or proficiency only taking over where an example, guidance or additional knowledge is necessary. This approach is learner driven therefore keeping it tailored towards achieving their goals in their own personal learning journey.
