I’m a second-year medical student on the accelerated Graduate Entry Medicine programme, with a previous degree in Biological and Medical Sciences. I’ve always had a passion for science and education, and I enjoy helping others understand complex topics in a simple, approachable way. I understand the challenges students face and how to overcome them with the right guidance and support.
I have experience supporting GCSE students in Mathematics, Biology, and Combined Science. I’ve worked one-to-one with learners who found mainstream classroom teaching challenging, helping them build confidence and understanding at their own pace. This has given me a strong appreciation for how individualised support can make a big difference in a student’s progress and motivation.
My approach to tutoring is patient, flexible, and student-centred. I take time to understand each learner’s strengths, gaps, and preferred learning style, and I adapt lessons to suit their needs. I believe in breaking down complex topics into manageable steps, using relatable examples, and creating a supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not just to help students succeed in exams, but to help them feel more confident and capable in their learning.
