Hello and welcome! I’m Mr. Removed, a qualified Mandarin teacher with a passion for helping students succeed. Here’s a bit about me:
．Fully qualified Mandarin teacher (PGCE from UCL, a Master's degree in Chinese and QTS in the UK) with a friendly, patient approach.
．Experience teaching in both UK state and independent schools, as well as international teaching experience in Hong Kong.
．Enthusiastic about sharing Chinese language and culture, and committed to making learning enjoyable for all my students.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught Mandarin for 10 years in a variety of educational settings. My experience includes:
．Teaching Mandarin covering both the independent and state school sectors.
．Extensive experience with learners at all levels – from complete beginners to GCSE and A-Level students.
．Many of my students have achieved excellent results in their Mandarin exams under my guidance.
．International teaching background, having also taught Mandarin in Hong Kong, which broadened my teaching perspective.

Mandarin can seem challenging, but my personalized approach makes it fun and effective for learners:
．I tailor each lesson to individual student needs and goals, supporting beginners, GCSE, and A-Level learners at the right level.
．I use my own custom notes and PowerPoint slides, along with visual aids and memory techniques to help students recognise and remember Chinese characters.
．Lessons are interactive, using role-play, videos, and cultural activities to keep learning enjoyable.
．I focus on building students’ confidence and strong exam techniques, helping many students achieve top results in GCSE and A-Level Mandarin.
．My teaching style is supportive and encouraging, creating a space where students feel confident to ask questions and stay motivated.
