Anju

i, I’m Anju Varghese, a qualified and passionate Science Tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology for secondary school students (Years 7–11). I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK and have a strong academic background with degrees in Zoology, Education, and Project Management.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in both the UK and India, teaching in government schools, private academies, and currently as a supply teacher in Manchester. My experience ranges from general science support to intensive exam preparation, including coaching students for NEET medical entrance exams. I understand how to adapt lessons to meet each student's needs, whether they’re building confidence, catching up, or aiming for top grades.

My teaching approach focuses on making science engaging, relatable, and clear. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and motivated to learn. With strong classroom management skills and a student-centered mindset, I help learners stay focused, make consistent progress, and reach their goals.

I’m available for both in-person and online tutoring sessions, and I look forward to helping you or your child succeed in science.
