I qualified as a teacher in 1996 and continue to be passionate about teaching drama and English. I was a professional actor for a time too, so have plenty of experience.
My first teaching job in London 1996 to 2000 gave me excellent grounding, then moving to St Helens where I was promoted to Head of Department. I have taught in both state and private schools, English up to GCSE and drama up to A Level. I have helped students on a 3 gain higher, as well as students on a grade 7 or 8 achieve higher. I have taught a variety of exam boards. I am currently an examiner for GCSE and A Level Drama.
I am a friendly teacher, an excellent listener and I target my lessons depending on what the student needs.
