Hi, I'm Alice! I am a Mathematics student at the University of York, who strives to make maths understandable and enjoyable. I have achieved 3 A*s in A-level Maths, Economics and Psychology as well as grade 9's in my GCSE subjects. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy football, astronomy and guitar (Grade 6 qualification). But my main goal is to inspire young people into a love for maths and maximise their potential!

Tutoring Experience

With multiple years of experience teaching KS2 up to A-Level, I’m dedicated to helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. My students have grown in their confidence in Maths, as well as significantly improving on their grades in tests/exams at all levels and abilities. I also have over 5 years of experience teaching swimming and tennis, and am also skilled in supporting children with special needs.

Tutoring Approach

I provide tailored and engaging lessons to help students effectively prepare for exams and progress their learning. Furthermore, I provide customised resources and homework to aid students outside our lessons. I structure my lessons to diversify the questions and styles or learning to ensure the lesson, most importantly, remains fun and challenging!
