I am a passionate and dedicated physics educator with a strong academic background and a broad range of teaching experience across KS3 to KS5. I hold a First Class Master of Physics degree from the University of Manchester, which included a year at the National University of Singapore and a research project in evolutionary game theory. My professional background spans both education and engineering, giving me a unique blend of academic rigor and real-world scientific experience.
I have four years of experience teaching physics from KS3 through to A-Level, and I currently teach at William Hulme's Grammar School. Alongside classroom teaching, I have spent the past four years working as an A-Level physics tutor, delivering high-quality, tailored sessions that consistently lead to measurable progress. One recent success story includes a student who improved from a grade D in their first mock exam to an A in their second, demonstrating the impact of focused, strategic tutoring.
My tutoring is deliberately student-centred. I first pinpoint each learner’s strengths and gaps, making sure the underlying concepts are rock-solid. We then move on to exam-style questions: I model problem-solving strategies, offer targeted feedback, and build confidence through guided practice. As mastery develops, I gradually remove the scaffold so students tackle challenges on their own—cultivating independence, resilience, and the self-belief to excel in every assessment.
