I am deputy head of English at one of London's leading private day schools. I speak fluent German and good French and have recently returned to London after teaching in one of Asia's top international schools. I am passionate about English and helping people fulfill their potential.
I am an experienced English teacher with a proven track record of raising the attainment of students aged 11-18. Having taught at top private schools, both in the UK and internationally, I am familiar with A Level, IB and GCSE syllabuses and my classes always make superb progress and achieve excellent results in public examinations. My lessons – which have always been rated ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Very Good’ – are engaging, intellectually rigorous and differentiated to cater to a range of needs and abilities. I also have a lot of experience delivering one-to-one tutoring sessions, ranging from working with pupils in Year 7 to Oxbridge interview preparation.
I always like to discuss an individual student’s requirements and personalise my tutoring accordingly. As such, before we start, I will ascertain what your key needs are and tailor my sessions accordingly. I aim to make tutoring sessions fun, but first and foremost my focus is on providing you with the skills needed to succeed.
